Alzheimer: La huida de la memoria

Desde la mirada sistémica el Alzheimer  no es la enfermedad de un individuo aislado, sino un padecimiento que afecta a una persona ya su sistema familiar. Es una dolencia que expresa el deseo de huir de conflictos que viajan de generación en generación.

Considerada  la causa más común de demencia  entre los adultos mayores, la  enfermedad de Alzheimer  provoca el deterioro continuo de la memoria y afecta la capacidad de una persona para vivir de forma independiente.

Su manifestación inicial es la dificultad para recordar información recién aprendida . A medida que el padecimiento avanza surgen síntomas como la desorientación, los cambios de humor, la confusión de horas y lugares, las sospechas infundadas sobre familiares, amigos y cuidadores hasta llegar a la dificultad para hablar, tragar y caminar.

Científicos consultados por la  Clínica Mayo  aseguran que la mayoría de los casos de  Alzheimer  son consecuencia de una combinación de factores genéticos, ambientales y de estilo de vida que afectan el cerebro a lo largo del tiempo.

Desde la  mirada sistémica , las personas que padecen la dolencia sobrellevan un conflicto de separación y agresión,  frecuentemente relacionadas con el deseo de huir de las distintas realidades de este mundo  y con no querer tomar responsabilidades en ninguna de ellas.

«Ese olvido es el regreso a la supuesta seguridad de la infancia» , asegura  la maestra Milagros Ortega Vásquez , directora de  ECOSIC , quien explica que  a través de las constelaciones familiares  es posible descubrir el origen sistémico de enfermedades como  el alzheimer.

La maestra destaca que en nuestra escuela «honramos las guerras y las separaciones violentas que se vivieron y se siguen viviendo», como una manera de sanar las heridas que causan el deterioro de la memoria entre los integrantes de los sistemas familiares.

Recordamos al maestro Bert Hellinger:  «Gracias a los conflictos la gente muestra lo que es importante para ellos y lo que se sienten como amenaza. En el conflicto expresan y defienden sus intereses, hasta el momento en que tienen que admitir hasta dónde y hasta qué punto el interés de los demás actúa como un límite para sus propios intereses».
